Dr. Wu brings his distinguished stock market experience and academic achievement to AIR. Prior to joining us, Dr. Wu was a Managing Director of NYPC Kopp Fund, a China-based private equity fund. Before that, Dr. Wu was a Senior Vice President at Alliance Advisors LLC, a New York-based IR consulting firm, and managed the company’s Chinese accounts with clients including CMCI, IICN, DUKS, CMDI, and MSAH. Prior to Alliance Advisors, Dr. Wu was a Vice President at a boutique investment bank in New York City, helping Chinese clients (small and medium enterprises) raise capital both in the U.S. and in China. Prior to Wall Street, Dr. Wu spent over five years in clinical development at Johnson & Johnson and also as a medical researcher before that. Leveraging his deep understanding of the healthcare industry and capital market, Dr. Wu has been an active investor of Chinese healthcare companies over the past decade. Dr. Wu holds a MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, a MS in Statistics from the University of Chicago, and a Ph.D. in Genetics from Texas A&M University.
